Rep. Labriola attends NVCC Technology Hall dedication
Rep. David Labriola talks with Naugatuck Valley Community College President Daisy Cocco DeFilippis before the start of the official dedication and ribbon cutting fpr NVCC’s Technology Hall in Waterbury Friday morning. Labriola joined Rep. Rosa Rebimbas and other elected officials for the ceremony which took place inside the new $31.4 million building. Technology Hall- approximately 100,000 square feet in three stories- replaced a leased facility for automotive technology on Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury; it also replaced seven modular buildings erected on the campus in 1972. Technology Hall provides state-of-the-art teaching facilities for various technical programs taught at NVCC.
